Senior SEO Technician / Analyst

Job Description:

This Senior SEO Technician / Analyst will play a leading role in developing and delivering cutting-edge search programs for our clients. Position Summary:
A technologist with a strong marketing background is preferred. Your knowledge of SEO/SEM techniques and metrics tracking are essential. Great interpersonal skills are must. You will be part of a team with external client contact. At the same time you will need to be a motivated self starter. This position will be responsible for delivering client engagements from analysis to execution. As a senior part of our team you will be integral to the development of our internal processes and advanced technology.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide SEO guidance and strategy with little supervision
  • Provide site audits
  • Develop detailed recommendations and documentation, as well as implement recommendations (on/off-page factors)
  • Forecasting based on data and trends with recommendations for program refinement
  • Stay on top of current news and trends, algorithm shifts, provide weekly updates
  • Help develop best practices and internal standards
  • Analytics (Google, Click Tracks) reporting and ROI analysis
  • Develop client reporting, presentations and status updates
  • Strategic and creative keyword research and analysis

Qualifications for position:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience with hands-on SEO and in-depth online marketing experience
  • Extensive use of SEO reporting and analysis tools needed
  • Ability to create technical SEO functional specifications
  • PPC experience preferred
  • SEO copywriting experience as plus
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Well-versed in technology such as HTML, CSS, Javacscript, Server logs, site and internal linking structures, content issues, server issues
  • Good problem solver, clever thinker
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
